Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Sniploom ("we") collects and how we use it. In short: our free tools run entirely in your browser and never upload your images.
1. Your images (free browser tools)
Our free tools — background removal, format conversion, HEIC-to-JPG, compression, cropping and rotation — run entirely in your browser using client-side code. Your images are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers or seen by us. When you close or reload the page, they are gone from memory.
2. Paid AI tools (when available)
Some Pro AI features (for example object removal, photo restoration and relighting) are too heavy to run in a browser and require server processing. When you use one of these paid features, the specific image you submit is sent to our processing provider solely to produce your result, and is not used to train models or retained longer than needed to deliver the output. These features are clearly labeled and are opt-in.
3. Product usage data
We record a small set of first-party, cookie-less events — such as a page view, starting a tool, downloading a result or sharing a tool — so we can understand which features are useful. These events may include the page, tool name, campaign tags, referring website and country. We use a random browser-session identifier and do not store your IP address, image names or image contents. Usage events are retained for up to 12 months.
4. Requests, feedback and ListingPilot pilot files
If you choose to submit a workflow request or feedback form, we store the email address, role, request type and message you provide, together with the page and campaign that led to the form. We use this information only to evaluate the request and contact you when there is a relevant next step. Requests are retained for up to 24 months and may be copied to our access-controlled private operations repository for follow-up.
When you explicitly submit a non-confidential CSV to the ListingPilot pilot, the file is encrypted in transit and at rest, is available only through the private operations interface, and is used only to prepare the requested output. Pilot file contents are removed after fulfillment and no later than 30 days. File metadata and the delivery reference may be retained for support and accounting. Do not submit passwords, customer personal data, payment data, health data or confidential supplier information.
5. Payments
Sniploom and ListingPilot paid features may be processed by Creem, which acts as merchant of record. SellerPilot subscriptions are processed through Shopify Billing. We do not store card details.
6. Service providers
We use Cloudflare to host the site and store operational data, and GitHub for private deployment and operations reporting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
7. Data we do not collect
We do not require an account to use the free tools, do not sell personal data, and do not run advertising trackers.
8. SellerPilot merchant connections
When a merchant connects a Shopify development store to SellerPilot, we request read-only access to the minimum operational data needed for the dashboard: product and inventory information, order number, order time, financial and fulfillment status, order total and currency, and product title. We do not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses.
Shopify access tokens are encrypted at rest and connections use HTTPS in transit. Order data is retrieved on demand for the authenticated merchant dashboard and is not sold, used for advertising, customer profiling or legally significant automated decisions. We retain the encrypted store connection only while the merchant uses the service or as needed to operate and secure it. A merchant may request disconnection and deletion of stored connection data.
